What to Expect

You may contact me via phone or email. Be sure to let me know the best time to reach you; if I donít respond immediately, I will call you within 24 hours at the latest. I will do a brief screening over the phone (5-10 minutes) to get a sense of what you are looking for, and if I can be of service.

The next step will be a face-to-face initial session in my office. In some cases (such as a consultation) we may meet via phone, Skype, or FaceTime. Most of my clients find my office to be comfortable, easily accessible, and private. In our first meeting, I will ask some background questions, to gain a good understanding of the issue you are seeking help with, and to get to know you as a person. I will tell you more about myself and my approach to treatment, and we will agree to the terms of our professional relationship.

After that, we will meet at the frequency we agreed on, and will continue until you find that you have gained all the benefits possible from our work together.

Location

My office is located at 822 Montgomery Ave, Suite 316, Narberth, PA 19072. There is a parking lot under the building. My office is located in a professional building, which has offices for doctors and other professionals. Upon entering the building, the elevator will take you to the third floor, and you may follow the signs for Suite 316 (known as “The Wellness Suite”). The suite has a waiting room that is shared with other therapists. The office is well-appointed, sound-proofed, and comfortable.

Fees and Policies

Typically, payment for services will be due the date of the session. I am a participating provider for Medicare, CIGNA, and Highmark Blue Shield. For other insurance programs with “out-of-network” provider reimbursement, I will be happy to assist you by supplying bills, and will fill out any needed forms with you present so that you know exactly what information is being shared. However, it is your responsibility to file all claims for reimbursement, and payment†for visits†is due at the time of each visit.

The initial phone screening is free; my standard fee for all other services is $120 for a 45-minute session. Based on your individual situation, we may be able to negotiate a sliding-scale fee. Payments are accepted in cash, check/money order, or credit card.

It is my policy that if you need to cancel, you must call 24 hours in advance; likewise, I will inform you in advance of any times that I will be absent. If you miss a session without giving 24 hours notice, you will be responsible to pay the full fee prior to your next session.

Emergencies

If you have an emergency, call 911 immediately or go to your nearest emergency room. After doing so, please call me (regardless of the time of day or night), leaving a message with any information about your condition, location, and the name and number of the physician treating you. Please make my phone number available to the physician at that time as well.
