About Jason

Jason is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (PA - CW017511) and trained psychotherapist. He has been a practicing therapist for over 10 years, serving individuals and groups in inpatient, partial hospital, and outpatient settings. His practice specialties include Addictions, Relationship Issues, and Consultation to Professionals and Organizations. He was a Fellow at the Psychoanalytic Center of Philadelphia in 2013-2014. Jason also holds a Master of Social Service degree from Bryn Mawr College, with a concentration in Clinical Social Work.

Following his degree, he received additional supervision and training, with a focus on Psychodynamic and Psychoanalytic theories and practices. Jason also holds a Master’s degree in Experimental Psychology from St. Joseph’s University, with a concentration in Developmental Psychology. The focus of his research was on perceived parental attachment, separation-individuation, and subsequent eating disorder symptoms.

In addition to his clinical work, Jason has years of experience as a Supervisor and Program Director, and is currently an Executive at the largest outpatient provider in Philadelphia. Jason was key in the organization’s inclusion in a variety of new programs and revenue sources, most notably in the organization’s inclusion in the City of Philadelphia’s Partial Hospital Transformation, which required the development of a new, recovery-oriented, hybrid treatment/rehabilitation model for individuals with serious mental illness.

Jason has expertise in program design, policy/procedure/systems development, licensing & credentialing, staff training & development, and performance management.
